Best tips for making Oriental Lilies last longer in a living room?

I have recently purchased some beautiful Oriental Lilies at abodelook and they are now in blossom! The smell is unbelievable, and I am scared too that they are going to dry up. I have heard of it being done by taking off the anthers (the bits of pollen), but whether that will be a permanent measure of longevity in doors I do not know. Have you purchased their plants previously at abodelook? How many times do you water them when they are in full bloom? It will be very nice to get a helping hand concerning a nervous plant parent!
